Matt DeMonbrun is a Statistician and Senior Data Analyst at Southern Methodist University. As a researcher, he has served as a quantitative methodologist for multiple projects, including work with the University of Michigan's School of Education, College of Engineering, and Division of Student Life, and the Center for Education Design, Evaluation, and Research. His research has been featured in the Journal of Engineering Education, Higher Education Policy, and the Journal of College Science Teaching. He also serves as an adjunct instructor for Southern Methodist University. Matt completed his Ph.D. in Higher Education at the University of Michigan in Winter 2019.

Matt's prior research work focuses on areas such as evidence-based teaching practices and digital technologies in STEM education, organizational change at Master's colleges and universities, curricular analytics, and student enrollment and retention efforts. Matt also works as a methodological consultant, providing colleagues and clients with sound methodological advice in their own research by leveraging my expertise in statistical methods and research design, and as a dissertation consultant specializing in methodological and statistical advising.
